The Association of Film and Television Producers to hold a press conference

Participants to discuss the state of the Russian film industry

On October 7, at 6 pm in the Old St. Petersburg Stock Exchange on the Strelka of Vasilyevsky Island, as part of the business program of the First St. Petersburg International Media Forum organized by ROSKINO with support from the government of St. Petersburg, a press conference will be given by the Association of Film and Television Producers (AFTP).

Participants in the press conference will discuss the general state of the Russian film industry, government support for cinema, film schools and professional standards, solutions to the problem of Internet piracy, and cooperation between the Association of Film and Television Producers and other professional film groups.

The following people will be taking part in the press conference:

Sergey Selyanov, head of the STV company; Alexander Akopov, president of the film company Amedia; Vladislav Ryashin, general producer, chairman of the board and founder of the Star Media group of companies; Yuri Sapronov, general director of Worldwide Russian Studios, Closed Joint Stock Company; Sergey Semyonov, legal counsel at AFTP; Alexey Pimanov, president of media holding Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star); Rodion Pavliuchik, president of the Prior company; Alexander Tsekalo, founder and general producer of the Sreda company; and other members of the Association.

The Media Forum has also prepared an exceptional program of film and TV premieres for the citizens of Saint Petersburg.
