ROSKINO is the only state organization in Russia that promotes Russian films to the world. It has helped integrate Russian filmmakers into the world film industry since 1924.

The company promotes Russian films at international film festivals (Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto), in international touring film markets (AFM in Los Angeles, EFM in Berlin, March du Film and MIPCOM in Cannes), and at awards ceremonies (the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the European Film Academy Awards). ROSKINO supports the distribution of Russian films and facilitates the recruitment of investors and partners who have an interest in joint production with Russia.

In 2012 ROSKINO opened a division in Los Angeles called Russian Film Commission USA.

In 2014 ROSKINO opened an official representative office in London (Great Britain) called ROSKINO-UK).

One of ROSKINO's standout projects is the DOORS international touring film market, through which the company presents new Russian films to the world's leading film markets.

The government of St. Petersburg

The government of St. Petersburg is developing and implementing measures to ensure full-scale socioeconomic development in St. Petersburg. It plays a vital role in implementing unified state policies in the areas of finance, science, education, health, culture, sport, social provision and the environment. The government of St. Petersburg also aims to support and develop the city's television, film, and internet industries. One of the ways it fulfills this mission is by holding international events like SPIMF.

In fact, the government of St. Petersburg is a co-organizer of the St. Petersburg International Media Forum and SPIMF is under the patronage of St. Petersburgs governor Georgy Poltavchenko.

Georgy Poltavchenko, Governor of Saint Petersburg I am thrilled to welcome the leaders of the international media industry to our city, which we hope will become an important venue for business development and interaction. The Media Forum has also prepared an exceptional program of film and TV premieres for the citizens of Saint Petersburg.
Vadim Zingman, Aeroflot deputy director for customer service The St. Petersburg Media Forum is just starting out but I am sure that it will become one of the most important events for the Russian and world media industries. We wish all the SPIMF participants a fruitful time, successful new partnerships and a fresh sense of perspective.
