ROSKINO is the only state organization in Russia that promotes Russian films to the world. It has helped integrate Russian filmmakers into the world film industry since 1924.
The company promotes Russian films at international film festivals (Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto), in international touring film markets (AFM in Los Angeles, EFM in Berlin, March¨¦ du Film and MIPCOM in Cannes), and at awards ceremonies (the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the European Film Academy Awards). ROSKINO supports the distribution of Russian films and facilitates the recruitment of investors and partners who have an interest in joint production with Russia.
In 2012 ROSKINO opened a division in Los Angeles called Russian Film Commission USA.
In 2014 ROSKINO opened an official representative office in London (Great Britain) called ROSKINO-UK).
One of ROSKINO's standout projects is the DOORS international touring film market, through which the company presents new Russian films to the world's leading film markets.
